Women's Basketball Slips Up at Home

DUBUQUE, Iowa (Duhawks.com) - An 11-point swing in the third quarter proved to be the difference on Wednesday night, as the Loras women's basketball fell to Nebraska Wesleyan, 81-78. Senior Cyerra Hutchins recorded her third double-double of the season and second in her last three games, finishing with 10 points and 11 rebounds.

MOMENTS THAT MATTERED
- Facing a three-point deficit, the Duhawks created their own 15-11 advantage with a 3-pointer from senior Miranda Chapman and a pair of free-throws from freshman Marissa Schroeder
- A 7-3 run from the Prairie Wolves to end the first quarter cut the Loras lead to one
- With 5:44 on the clock the Duhawks scored seven points in less than 40 seconds to gain their largest lead of the night at 36-27
