On the basketball court, the Duhawks never suffered a losing season with Severa in the line-up and finished 51-26 during his career.
Began his football career at fullback before moving to quarterback and linebacker. His passion and intensity for the game was verified by student manager John Thornton who claimed Severa always had the dirtiest uniform.
Pitched, caught, and played first base for the Loras baseball team. He served as team captain his junior year.
