INDIANOLA, Iowa (Duhawks.com) - The Loras swimming and diving teams were victorious on Friday after their meet against Simpson in the YMCA Natatorium. On the men's side, the Duhawks earned a 127-83 victory over Simpson with the women following suit with a 120-103 victory of their own.

-Junior Kaitlyn Lagrange opened with an impressive victory in the 1000 freestyle with a time of 11:43.87

John Lynch got the men going early with his win in the 200 freestyle with a time of 2:00.19, over five seconds faster than the Storm. Lynch also won the men's 100 butterfly with of a time of 55.51

Sarah Shafer won the women's 50 freestyle with a time of 25.33, 2 seconds better than the second place finisher
-Senior
Kim Breaux followed suit with a victory in the 200 IM with a time of 2:24.88, nearly 10 seconds ahead of the Storm … She also won the women's 200 IM with a time of 2:24.88 and carried her strong day over to the 100 butterfly, winning with a time of 1:02.64

Ike Casey paced the pack in the 50 free, winning with a time of 20.62 … Casey also won the 100 free with a time of 47.13

Mikaela Lengwin won the 1m dive with a final score of 254.60, 84 points higher than the Storm … Lengwin also won the women's 3m dive with a final score of 261.40

Sarah Shafer was the winner of the women's 100 back with a time of 1:00.46
