The Loras College Athletics Hall of Fame, established in 1986 by the Department of Athletics, recognizes these individuals who have made exceptional contributions to the prestige of Loras College both on and off the field of competition.
Inductees have brought much distinction and honor to Loras College and have established a tradition of excellence which is incomparable. From the inception of intercollegiate athletics at Loras to the present, none have better exemplified the true spirit of being a Duhawk through athletic competition than these honored players, coaches and administrators.

Nomination Guidelines:
Former Student-Athlete/Team
Nominees must be a graduate of Loras College and possess all three of the following attributes:
- Persons whose varsity athletic performance as undergraduate student-athletes (for a minimum of two years) made a significant contribution to the College’s intercollegiate varsity athletics program as a National Champion, All-American, All-Region, All-District, All-Conference, or other national recognition.
- While attending the College, they should have performed in athletic competition in a manner and to a degree that is considered outstanding and should have exemplified those character traits usually expected of a college athlete and leader (especially, exemplary athletic performance, sportsmanship, and leadership, on and off the field).
- After graduation, they should have conducted themselves personally and professionally in a manner that reflects positively on the College.
Individuals or teams will be eligible for consideration for induction no earlier than ten (10) years from the date of their graduation.
Former Varsity Head Coach
Must have been employed at the College for a minimum of seven (7) years. Â They must possess all three of the following attributes:
- They had a very positive overall influence on the College’s athletic program.
- They were very effective in promoting and developing athletic and academic excellence in their student-athletes on both individual and team levels.
- They were exemplary ambassadors for the College and its athletic program.
Eligible for consideration no earlier than ten (10) years after leaving the College.
Contributor to Loras Athletics
Must be individuals who have made a significant impact upon, or substantially influenced, the success of the College’s varsity athletics program.
