  • Pitched 20 seasons (1914-33) with the Chicago White Sox, compiling a 254-213 record with a 3.15 lifetime ERA.
  • Defeated the New York Giants three times in the 1917 World Series and was the last legal American League spitballer when he retired in 1933.
  • Enshrined into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1964.
  • Had the Faber-Clark Field on the Loras campus named after him in 1964.
