Maggie Moore-Arundel was a two-sport athlete during her time at Loras, playing soccer in the fall for head coach Dan Rothert and basketball in the winter. Her performance on the pitch has etched herself in the Duhawks' women's soccer history book as she ranks second all-time for career points (134), career goals (52) and career assists (32). She ranks fourth in single-season points (54 in 2002), fifth in single-season assists (13 in 2001), and tied for second in single-season goals with 22 in 2002. She was a three-time All-Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (IIAC) honoree and helped lead the Duhawks to two IIAC regular season championships and two conference tournament championships. Loras advanced to the NCAA Division III Tournament two of the years Moore-Arundel was on the team, marking the first two appearances in program history and the first time any team at Loras went to the NCAA tournament. She married Loras men's soccer alumnus John Arundel '04 and the couple has five children.
