From 1994 to 1997, Loras served as the home of one of the most dominant pitchers in its history. Molly O'Hara (Young) anchored the Duhawk pitching staff for four seasons and finished her career with her name in the record book on more than one occasion.

O'Hara owns the Loras record for innings pitched (637.1), strikeouts (266), and wins (54). She was the second pitcher in Loras history with multiple no-hitters, finishing with four.
Her junior year, O'Hara pitched two no-hitters in a span of five days, defeating Viterbo, 12-1, and Central, 2-1.

Her former coach, Denise Bodensteiner Udelhofen once spoke of O'Hara in a Lorian article, citing her drive to win.

"Molly works extremely hard; when batters get a couple hits off of her she doesn't give up, she just works hard and gets even tougher on the mound."

As an upperclassman, O'Hara was one to lend helpful advice to the up and coming student-athletes.

"Her experience was extremely beneficial to me down in Florida. She's wonderful to work with and I'm glad I'll have next year to work with her as well. Hopefully I'll be able to maintain and build on the tradition of excellence Molly has achieved on the Loras pitching staff," Mick Gerdes ('99) said.
