  • A two-time NAIA All-American, winning the 126-lb. national championship in 1983 and placing 5th in 1984.
  • Also a two-time NAIA All-Academic Team member.
  • At the time of his induction, he still ranked among Loras College's leaders in career winning percentage (#8), single-season winning percentage (#10, with a .888 in 1983), single-season victories (#1 tie, with 40 in 1983) and career victories (#2).
  • Graduated magna cum laude with a degree in general science.
