ST. LOUIS (Duhawks.com) - Loras showcased its defense in a Sunday matinee at WashU, holding the Bears, a well-known national power, to 46 points and a 25 percent shooting mark. Macenzie Kraemer Riley Eckhart fueled the offense for the Duhawks, with each scoring 14 points.

• The Duhawks brought the defensive intensity in the first quarter forcing six WashU turnovers seven minutes into the game
• Loras came out on fire to start the second quarter and opened up a sizeable lead thanks to a 15-0 run over the first five minutes
