With many more close races, the meet came down to the final relay between Illinois Tech and Loras. Whoever was to win the relay would win the meet. In a packed house at San Jose pool, the crowd was on their feet.

"I was very pleased with what I saw in the pool today," said head coach Nick Wylie "This time of the year is always hard and I am proud of the way we showed up today. We are in the middle of training very hard and to come out and swim with heart like we did today says a lot about this team's character."
