The Duhawks followed in their own foot steps going on another run at the start of the third quarter stretching their lead to as much as 43 points before the Beavers made a basket. This impressive run was heavily aided by a handful of layups from numerous Duhawk players and Loras took their largest lead of the game at 48 points with 2:18 remaining in the third quarter. The Duhawks shot a perfect 4-4 from the free throw line in the third quarter, finishing the game with a free throw percentage of 72.7%.
