ROCK ISLAND, Ill. (Oct. 15, 2022) – Loras College's 23
rd-ranked cross country team finished the regular season portion of its fall 2022 campaign with another solid outing as the Duhawks finished sixth overall in the team standings behind another race victory from senior
Kassie Parker.
Parker's third race victory of the season comes with a 20:00.1 6k time at the Saukie Golf Course that marks a new program record for the Duhawk women. Her mark is also one of the top times ever recorded at the NCAA Division III level.
Parker won the race by 48 seconds over the runner-up to lay down another dominating performance.
The Guttenberg, Iowa native wasn't the only Duhawk to experience a career day as senior
Brianna Renner clocked a 22:12.7 to place 32
nd overall in the women's varsity race and mover her up to fifth in the all-time program record book. Senior
Ellie Osterberger joined in and vaulted to sixth all-time with a career-best 22:21.2 official time.

th – 22:51.4), and
Marianne Gleason (80
th – 22:59.3) all finished in the top-100 for the Duhawks.
As a team, Loras placed sixth out of the 25 scoring teams in the race and managed to take town several solid programs. Each of the first four teams that place behind the Duhawks in the team standings – Colorado College, Calvin University, UC Santa Cruz, and Hope College – are all ranked inside the top five in their respective regions in the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association's (USTFCCCA) rankings.
Saturday's meet marked the last regular season event for the Duhawks as their attention now shifts to the postseason. The next race for Loras will be Saturday, Oct.29 in Indianola, Iowa at the American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) Championship meet.
