CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa –
Frankie Chaidez was named the American Rivers Conference Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week as released by the conference this afternoon.
Chaidez earns her second A-R-C Athlete of the Week honor this season following a strong race at the Bradley Intercollegiate on Friday, Sept. 20. She competed in the 3-mile race where she came in 13
th place, clocking in a time of 17:51.80.
The Duhawks finished third out of 10 teams with 102 points. The Purple and Gold were the top Division III team in the race and defeated top opponents like Southern Illinois (DI) and Maryville (Mo.) (DII).
Up Next: Loras will travel to Terre Haute, Ind. on Friday, Oct. 4 to compete in the Division III Pre-Nationals at La Verne Gibson Championship Course.
