Nathan Roling

Nathan Roling enters his third year as a member of Carl Tebon's staff.
 
Roling is a 2008 graduate of Loras College, earning his degrees in sport management and business. As a member of the Loras Baseball team, Roling was a co-captain, a three-time Academic All-Iowa Conference selection, and a member of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee. Following his graduation from Loras, he continued his education and began his coaching career as a graduate assistant at Stevenson University in Owings Mills, Maryland from 2008-2010, where he earned his master’s degree in Business and Technology Management.

In the summer of 2010, Roling was the Field manage of the Dubuque Waves in the River Valley Summer Collegiate League. Roling assembled a league best 17-12 recorded, leading the Waves to a league championship while collecting Manager of the Year accolades.

Before coming to Loras, Roling was an assistant coach with Iowa Conference rival Coe College. While on the coaching staff, Coe accomplished three of the most successful seasons in program history. Roling has also coached in multiple settings over the summer months, including the Cal Ripken MLB Experience Camp.

Roling is a graduate of Cascade High School and currently resides in Dubuque.
