Dan Mulligan

Dan Mulligan begins his first year at the helm of the men's golf program in the fall of 2016.

For 18 years, Mulligan worked at Wahlert Catholic High School as an English teacher, student advisor and coach. The Golden Eagles claimed multiple conference championships and qualified for several Iowa State Tournaments. In 2003, Mulligan led Wahlert to a runner-up finish, its best in school history. Two of Mulligan's former preps earned Division I scholarships in Steven Ihm (Iowa) and Jake Weeber (Western Illinois). Throughout his career, Mulligan was recognized by the Mississippi Valley Conference (MVC) as Coach of the Year on multiple occasions.

Mulligan attended Wahlert Catholic, where he was the MVC Medalist as a junior and runner-up as a senior. Following graduation, Mulligan attended University of Northern Iowa, where he was a four-year letterwinner of the men's golf team.

A Dubuque native, Mulligan resides in the Key City with his wife, Kelly, and his two sons, Jacob and Eli.
