Jesse Ernst returns for his fourth season coaching the Duhawk High Jumpers.
Ernst is a 2010 graduate of Loras College, graduating cum laude with degrees in elementary education and spanish. Ernst also holds a Master of Science in Educational Administration degree from Purdue University.
During Ernst’s tenure at Loras, he has coached a three Iowa Conference Champions, nine All-Conference finishers, five NCAA Division III Track & Field qualifiers, and one NCAA Division III All-American in the High Jump.
Under his guidance, two Duhawks set school records in the high jump with a mark of 5-6.5.
Erst has earned his level one USATF certification.
In addition to coaching at Loras College, Coach Ernst is a high school Spanish teacher at Scales Mound High School in Scales Mound, Illinois.
