In his first year as an assistant coach, Aaron Costello helped coach the Duhawks to 2nd place in the American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) and ranked 7th in the country to finish the season. The Duhawks compiled a 16-4 record in the 2022-23 season as four wrestlers advanced to the NCAA National Championship in Roanoke, VA. Shane Liegel, Zeke Smith, Eric Kinkaid, and Gabe Fiser represented Loras in Virginia as Liegel finished 2nd and Smith finished 4th in their weight classes, making them All-Americans. Along with those four wrestlers, Jalen Schropp, Zeb Gnida, and Wyatt Wriedt received A-R-C All-Conference Honors.
