Jon Orillion

Jon Orillion begins his third season as an assistant coach for the Duhawks.

Before his time at Loras, Orillion spent 16 years coaching at the high school level in Louisiana. Orillion served as an assistant coach at Jesuit High School and Archbishop Rummel High School before taking the reigns as head coach at Archbishop Rummel in 2014. In his time at the high school level, Orillion served on the coaching staff of four Louisiana State Championship teams along with four state runner-up teams.

Orillion also served as the Louisiana National Team Head Coach from ’08-’16. Under his guidance, Louisiana saw 14 of its athletes claim 17 All-American honors at USA Wrestling Fargo Nationals along with Louisiana's first Fargo National Champion.

Orillion is a graduate of Jesuit High School (New Orleans), where he finished 2nd and 3rd in the Louisiana State Tournament, and then received his Bachelor’s Degree from Holy Cross College in New Orleans.
