Loras College Athletics

In his first year on the wrestling staff, Richard Hunter helped coach the Duhawks to a 2^nd place finish in the American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) with a 16-4 record and finished ranked 7^th in the country.  The Duhawks finished 3^rd in the NCAA Lower Midwest Regional, advancing four wrestlers to the NCAA National Championships in Roanoke, VA.  Shane Liegel, Zeke Smith, Eric Kinkaid, and Gabe Fiser represented Loras in Virginia, where Liegel finished 2^nd and Smith finished 4^th in their respective weight classes.  Along with Liegel, Smith, Kinkaid, and Fiser, Jalen Schropp, Zeb Gnida, and Wyatt Wriedt all received A-R-C All-Conference honors.
