Hunter Dunlap joined the Loras College track and field coaching staff as the pole vault coach prior to the 2020 season. He returned to his alma mater following a successful campaign as a student-athlete for the Duhawks.
Dunlap has helped coach two-time conference champion Ryan Rogers in the pole vault. Rogers sits tied outdoors with Dunlap at 4.70 meters for third all-time and had an indoor career-best 4.92 meters which is second all-time. Rogers also made his mark at the 2021 NCAA Division III National Championship, earning All-America honors in the decathlon.
Dunlap ranks tenth all-time indoors with a height of 4.35m and third outdoors.Â
