Loras College

Loras College was founded in 1839 in Dubuque, Iowa, making it the first and oldest college in the state. A Catholic liberal arts college, Loras competes in NCAA Division III athletics, sponsoring 24 sport teams that compete in the American Rivers Conference, College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin and Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference.
