LORAS TO OPEN SEASON AT UW-WHITEWATER …
The Duhawks kickoff the season on the road at UW-Whitewater on Friday, August 29. Loras suffered an unexpected 5-1 defeat against Whitewater that they will look to avenge this time around. The Warhawks finished the 2013 season at 17-1-4 at a No. 19 ranking, falling in the second round of the NCAA Division III Women's Soccer Tournament to Capital, who later advanced to the Final Four.

OLD FRIENDS FACE OFF ...
When Loras welcomes Washington University in St. Louis to town on Sunday, fans will see two former colleagues and friends opposing one another. Jim Conlon, head coach for the Bears, is a former assistant coach to Dan Rothert. After leaving Loras, Conlon coached men's and women's soccer at Wartburg College for eight seasons before leaving for St. Louis in 2008. Conlon is a 1998 graduate of Loras College, earning both his bachelor's and master's degrees during his time with the Duhawks.
