PREVIEWING THE PIONEERS...
The Duhawks will face the University of Wisconsin - Platteville Pioneers in their mid-week matchup this week. The Pioneers are coming off a 9-9-1 season in 2013. When the two teams met last year in Platteville, Loras handed the Pioneers a 4-0 loss.

Platteville lost their leading scorer, Sarah Eck who scored seven of the Pioneers' 35 goals. They return two of their five top scorers in Yaminex Jaramillo and Julie Davita. Davita leads the Pioneers this year with three goals and one assist for seven points on the season. Davita also leads the Pioneers in game-winning-goals with 2 on the season.

DUHAWKS UNDER .500 FOR FIRST TIME IN 7 YEARS...
The loss against Wheaton drops the Duhawks to 4-5 on the season, marking the first time Loras has fallen below .500 since the 2007 season in which they started out 3-5. The young team has struggled early on this season, and looks to turn things around before opening up conference play this weekend.
