DUBUQUE, Iowa (Duhawks.com) - The Loras swimming and diving teams were unable to top Luther on Senior Day, with the men falling 149-51 and the women suffering a 152-76 setback. The Duhawks claimed victory in six events while posting three season best times in the process.
NOTABLES
- Freshman Kasey Jacobson won the 50 Free and 100 Back, with times of 26.46 and 1:03.69, respectively
- Senior Elise Amo cut nearly four seconds off her previous best time in the 500 Free (5:38.94), finishing second behind Luther's Clare Slagel
- Senior Zach Benson posted two of his best times of the season in the 200 IM (2:05.21) and 100 Fly (54.14)
- Sophomore Danny Cepeda won the 200 Free by .02, posting his best time of the season in the process (1:57.75)
- Freshman Mac Faldet took first in the 100 Breast with his time of 1:02.16
- In the Women's 400 Relay, Loras finished .56 seconds behind Luther for the win

Loras travels to Beloit, Wisconsin to take on the Bucs next Saturday in their final dual of the season.
