Justin Heinzen recorded his 150th career win as Loras improved to 4-5 this season.
MOMENTS THAT MATTERED
First Quarter
- The hiatus showed little signs of impact on the Duhawks' effectiveness as they opened the game on a 10-0 run.
- With 2:28 to play in the quarter, senior Lori Obendorf was good on a jumper, which extended Loras' lead to 11.
Second Quarter
- After Beloit cut the deficit to six at 23-17, a 3-pointer from junior Addie Oberman kickstarted a 10-0 run for the Duhawks which spanned 2:12 of game time.
- Just as quickly as Loras built the double-digit lead, it took little time for the Bucs to cut Loras' advantage to single digits at 33-24.
- A pair of free-throws from McMahon concluded the scoring, as the Duhawks took a 35-24 lead into the locker room.
Third Quarter
- Beloit's struggles carried over into the second half as Loras kickstarted the offense and rode it to a 14-0 run, opening a 26-point advantage, with five players contributing to the run, led by McMahon's five points and junior Cyerra Hutchins' four points.
- After a 3-pointer from senior Kelly Barsowski, the Duhawks were effective in their control of the game.
- Despite a run from the Bucs to end the quarter, Loras maintained a 20-point lead entering the fourth quarter.
Fourth Quarter
- With the game in hand, Heinzen had the fortune of turning the game over to his bench to close out.
- In four minutes, junior Kate Moriarty connected twice from the floor for four points, while sophomore Regan Friend was 1-of-2 from beyond the arc for three points.

Addie Oberman | With her arsenal of skills, Oberman contributed in a number of ways to Saturday's win, totaling 13 points while adding eight rebounds and a pair of assists.

Loras is set to experience a quick turnaround as Elmhurst travels to the Key City on Monday for a non-conference tilt. The Bluejays are 8-2 overall, but are 3-2 in their last five. Tip-off is scheduled for 2 p.m.
