ALL-TIME SERIES AGAINST CENTRAL
With their victory over Central earlier this season, the Duhawks improved to a 31-26 overall record against the Dutch. Loras' winning record began in the 1983-84 season when they defeated Central, 65-53.

LAST MEETING AGAINST CENTRAL
Every member of the Duhawk roster saw action in Loras' matchup with Central earlier this season. With four Duhawks contributing double-digit scoring efforts, the team cruised to a 77-54 victory on the road. Kat Cabrera led the team with 15 points, seven assists, and six rebounds. It was Lori Obendorf who truly dominated the glass, however, with her 17 boards and 10 points in the contest. The Duhawks recorded a conference-season-high 55 rebounds in the game and shot 41.6 percent from the floor.

SCOUTING THE DUTCH
Central secured its lone conference victory against the University of Dubuque earlier this season. The Dutch continue to be led by breakout freshman Claire Marburger. She ranks third in the IIAC in scoring with her 16.3 points per game. Margurger dropped 24 points in the team's most recent loss to Wartburg, one of seven times she has recorded a double-digit performance. The 5-foot-9 forward is on track to breaking Central's program record for points scored in a freshman season of 408.

ALL-TIME SERIES AGAINST SIMPSON
With a loss to the Storm earlier this season, Simpson improved to a 42-20 advantage over the Duhawks. The teams have been competing since the 1987-88 season.

LAST MEETING AGAINST SIMPSON
The Duhawks suffered an 81-53 loss to Simpson on the road earlier this season. The Storm's tough defensive strategy knocked the Duhawks out of sync and forced multiple turnovers early. Simpson created a double-digit deficit in the first quarter making it difficult for Loras to close the gap. Freshman Kennedy Wohlford recorded tallied a career-high 11 points in the loss.

SCOUTING THE STORM
Simpson (14-9, 7-5 IIAC) is one of five Iowa Conference teams to have clinched an IIAC Tournament berth so far. The team's success comes from the leadership trio of Noreen Morrow, Mackenzie Haupt and Maddie Bosworth. Each of the guards are averaging double-digit points per game with Morrow (12.3) leading the attack. Morrow also leads the team in rebounding with 6.7 boards per game. As a team, Simpson is most effective on the defensive end of the court. The Storm rank second in the conference in defensive field goal percentage.

CHAMPIONSHIP SEASON BENCHMARK
The 2013-14 season brought an Iowa Conference Championship to 1450 Alta Vista and was coupled with a Tournament Championship weeks later. Five members of this 2015-16 squad experienced that championship run and have used that experience in the time since. Two years removed from their run to the NCAA Tournament, Loras finds themselves in position to make a similar run this season. Compared to the 2013-14 season, the Duhawks are averaging 2.2 more points per game, 3.1 more rebounds per game, 2.3 more blocks per game and .4 more assists per game.

A TEAM EFFORT
For the Loras women's basketball team, the story of the 2015-16 campaign thus far has been balance. The Duhawks come into this week with four players who are averaging over ten points per game, which ranks first in the Iowa Conference. In addition, Loras has four players ranked inside the top-20 of the IIAC in rebounding, also tied for the most in that category. The Duhawks' depth is further evident through the play of bench players Miranda Chapman, Erin Weaver and Lauren Stanich, whom all average over 15 minutes per game.

AT THE TOP OF THE BOARD
The Duhawks lead the IIAC in rebounds so far this season with 44.5 rebounds per game. Junior Lori Obendorf leads the conference on the glass with 10.8 rebounds per game. Thanks to the play of Obendorf and the rest of the Loras roster, the Duhawks own a +12.3 rebound margin, which ranks fifth in Division III.

IOWA CONFERENCE WEEK SIX
The Duhawks played their final two road contests last week against Wartburg and Buena Vista. On Wednesday, Loras suffered a setback in a 60-50 loss to the Knights. Determined to regain their spot toward the top of the IIAC, the Duhawks bounced back with a 71-68 victory over the Beavers. Kaitlin Phillips led the team in scoring for both games with 11 and 19 points, respectively.

JOINING AN ELITE GROUP
On Wednesday, senior Kaitlin Phillips has the opportunity to join an elite group of women's basketball players at Loras College. With eight points, Phillips will become the ninth member of the 1,000-point club and first since the 2008-09 season. For Phillips, who is already a two-time All-Iowa Conference selection, an Allstate WBCA Good Works Team member and a CoSIDA Academic All-District selection, joining the 1,000-point club would be one more achievement to add to an already impressive resume.
