Swimming & Diving Collects Three Wins at Home Triangular

DUBUQUE, Iowa (Duhawks.com) - The Loras men's and women's swimming & diving programs collected three wins on Saturday at home in a triangular against St. Ambrose and Midland. Juniors Kaitlyn LaGranage and Kasey Jacobson each recorded a pair of individual wins to lead the Duhawks.

NOTABLES
-Against St. Ambrose, the women's team were winners by a score of 117-84 while the men suffered a 124-76 setback
-Both teams posted victories against Midland with the men winning 96-91 and the women winning 153-13
-LaGrange took first in the 1650 free with a time of 20:32.74
-Jacobson collected a pair of wins in the 200 free and 100 back ... Her time in the 200 free served as a season's-best
-In her first race of the 400 IM, freshman Sarah Shafer won with a time of 5:05.16
-Junior Kim Breaux claimed victory in the 100 fly with her time of 1:04.18
-On the men's side, senior Ike Casey won the 100 free at 47.57
-Junior Mac Falet's time of 1:00.14 in the 100 breast was good for a first place finish
-Loras swept the 400 medley relay with a time of 4:46.53 in an uncontested women's race and 3:42.73 in the men's race
-The Duhawks added a win for the women in the 400 free relay with their time of 3:58.82

UP NEXT
Loras is back in action next Saturday for a non-conference dual against Illinois Tech. The Scarlet Hawks enter with a 3-1 record on both the men's and women's side. First events are scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. inside San Jose Pool.
