DUBUQUE, Iowa (Duhawks.com) - The 18th-ranked Loras women's soccer team saw its season come to a close on Saturday, falling to No. 17 Wheaton in the Second Round of the 2017 NCAA Division III Women's Soccer Championship.

MOMENTS THAT MATTERED
-Loras struggled to find their footing in the first 15 minutes of the first half and conceded the eventual match-winner in the 16th minute … Leading up to the goal, Wheaton recorded three shots and had earned three corner kicks
-It was a much different story for the Duhawks in the first 15 minutes of the second half, as they dominated possession and were able to rattle off four shots and three corner kicks
-With 15 minutes to play, head coach Matt Pucci pulled his sweeper for additonal offensive pressure in an effort to level at 1-all
