WHEATON, Ill. (Duhawks.com) - The Loras women's basketball team suffered its first loss of the season on Tuesday night, falling to Wheaton, 78-52. Junior
Hanna Stokes led the Duhawks with 11 points on 5-of-6 shooting.

Kari Fitzpatrick opened the scoring with a 3-pointer, Wheaton responded with a 11-0 run and extended its lead to 10 before the end of the first quarter
• Trailing by 23, Loras cut the deficit to 13 to start the fourth quarter after a 12-2 run … Once again, the Thunder responded and put the game out of reach, outscoring the Duhawks 19-9 over the final 7:10 of the game
