MOMENTS THAT MATTERED
Set One
- After falling to a 12-8 deficit, the Duhawks capitalized on strong serving from Kinney and three Muskie attack errors to pull within even at 12-all.Â
- A kill from Lakeland's Matijevic combined with a Loras attacking error sealed the first set for the Muskies, 25-22.Â
Set Two
- Two service aces from Lakeland gave the Muskies an early 6-2 lead to begin the second set before head coach Jeremy Thornburg called a timeout.
- Loras earned their first lead of the set after Ross went on a serving run with the help of two kills from Kinney and a service ace to take a 9-7 lead.Â
- A pair of kills from sophomore Aaron Miller and a service ace from Lopez earned the Duhawks a second-set victory.Â
Set Three
- The beginning of the third set saw Loras and Lakeland exchange points evenly until three straight Duhawk errors brought the score to 16-13 in favor of Lakeland.Â
- Two kills from Muskies earned Lakeland their second set victory of the night, 25-21.Â
Set Four
- Four errors in seven points kept the momentum with the Muskies as Lakeland pulled ahead 6-1 to start the fourth set.Â
- Errors continued to hurt the Duhawks towards the end of the set, as the Muskies earned three-straight points to walk away with a 25-21 fourth set win.Â

Greg Kinney | The sophomore finished the day with 15 kills and 16 digs for Kinney's third double-double of the season. Kinney hit .306 on the match and added two block assists for Loras.Â

- The Duhawks finished the night with 46 assists, as compared to only 35 for Lakeland, 25 of which came from the hands of Lopez.Â
- With his career-best 16 dig effort, Kinney surpassed 300 for his career
- Ross moved to within one kill of 500 for his career
