Based on the probable lineups, there is the potential for rematches at 149# with junior Joey Riordan as an alternate versus Carson Rhoads and sophomore Guy Patron Jr. versus Tyler Puls at 197# … Riordan lost his match up with Rhoads in TB-1, 8-6 while Patron Jr. defeated Puls by fall in 2:17
- Patron Jr. and Puls also met in last year's NCAA Central Regional with Patron Jr. winning by fall
