OSHKOSH, Wis. (Duhawks.com) - The Loras women's soccer team came out hot in a non-conference matchup against UW-Oshkosh on Wednesday night, netting two goals in the first half.
Gretchen Schutz and
Emily Perhats led the charge, with each tallying a goal while the Duhawks as a team finished with eight shots on target to the Titans' four.
NOTABLES
• In the 10th minute, Schutz sent a bender into the top corner after gathering the mismanaged clear attempt by the UW-Oshkosh defense
• The Titans had their first major chance of the evening in the 28th minute as Kylee Brown went on a solo from midfield but was denied at the net by

• After pushing the ball deep into the Titan's half,
Jenny Wick sent a corner kick towards the back post where Perhats was waiting to convert the second Duhawk goal of the night

Genna Sobieszczyk had an opportunity to push the Duhawk lead in the 83rd minute but her shot fell just wide of the goal.
• UW-Oshkosh narrowed the deficit to one after Brown's shot went off the crossbar and into the back of the net
