STORM LAKE, Iowa (Duhawks.com) - The Loras Spirit Squad finished tied for fourth on Sunday at the  inaugural Iowa Conference Cheer & Spirit Squad Competition.

In total, there were six categories for competition, in which the Duhawks competed under the "Cheer Routine - Stunt" classification. Loras finished tied for fourth with a score of 45.16, tied for fourth with Central.

"This weekend we had the opportunity to showcase the skills we have been working on all season in a new setting," Andi Leineberg said. "Although the outcome wasn't what we had hoped for, it was still a great learning experience. We are already looking forward to building and becoming stronger for next season."
