Duhawks Split With Prairie Wolves

DUBUQUE, Iowa (Duhawks.com) - For the second meet in a row the men's and women's swimming and diving team split results with their opponent. On the women's side the Duhawks went home with their fourth conference victory in a 99-85 win while the men fell to the Prairie Wolves, 139-46.

NOTABLES
• The women's team wasted no time taking an early lead as Jennifer Young, Logan Eckhardt, Sarah Shafer and Tessa Orozco won the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:56
• Shafer continued her winning ways in the 50 free, finishing with a time of 25.4
• Alex Nesset claimed top spot in the 200 medley after finishing in 2:29 … Her previous best in the event was 2:40
• Tim LaGrange took second place in the 100 free with a time of 11:13.15 … He shaved 37 seconds off his previous personal best
• Mac Faldet dominated the 200 breast, finishing in 2:14.63, over 15 seconds faster than the second place finisher

UP NEXT
The Duhawks return to San Jose Pool tomorrow morning for another match up against the Prairie Wolves and for their final regular season meet of the season. During the first diving break the Duhawks will honor their four seniors and their families for all of their accomplishments over the past four years. The meet is scheduled for 10:00 a.m.
