Zach Licht kept the momentum going at 133 pounds securing a takedown and four near fall points. Licht locked up a cradle on Beaver wrestler Axel Hernandez to grab the Fall and put Loras up 11-0. 

Clint Lembeck took Buena Vista 141 pounder Jacob Hanssen down early in the first period and earned two sets of four point near falls. Hanssen escaped but Lembeck secured the first period fall in 2:03. 

Brandon Murray made quick work of Teyler Bruch at 157 pounds grabbing two takedowns before the pining Bruch in under two minutes. Eddie Smith received a forfeit at 165 pounds to move the team score to 23-6.

Jacob Krakow took Parker Preul down twice in the first period at 174 pounds before securing the fall in 1:56. 

Shane Liegel made the most of his freshman debut at 184 pounds defeating Stephen White via fall in second period. Liegel secured three take downs before earning his first pin as a Duhawk. 

Guy Patron Jr. battled back at 197 pounds after getting taken down in the first period. Patron Jr. closed the match with two four count near falls to win by major decision 13-2.

Wyatt Wriedt  earned four take downs at HWT before securing the first round pin in 1:58 to give Loras their first victory of the season 51-6. 

The Duhawks will  travel to Platteville, Wis. to compete at the Super 8 Invitational on Saturday, Nov. 9. The meet is set to begin at 10:00 a.m.
