Naperville, Ill. (Duhawks.com) - The No. 19 Loras College women's soccer team defeated North Central College 2-0 Tuesday evening.
"It was a solid win on the road after starting the season with four home games," said head coach
Matt Pucci. "We kept a clean sheet and I am proud of the way they played. "
Abby Eriksen opened up the scoring when
Olivia Lansing fed her the quick give-and-go to put the Duhawks up 1-0 in the 44th minute. Loras held a 18-9 shot advantage over the Cardinals with five shots on goal.Â

Kaylee Coble was needed twice as she stepped up to make two saves for the Duhawks
Ryleigh O'Brien scored her first goal of the season in the 68th minute to push the lead to 2-0.Â
Loras will travel to St. Joseph, Minn. to face non-conference opponent College of St. Benedict on Friday, Sept. 13. First kick is scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
