DUNDEE, Ill. (Sept. 12, 2021) – The Loras College men's golf team split the squad between two tournaments over the weekend as the Duhawks competed at the Midwest Region Classic, hosted by Benedictine University, at Eagle Ridge Resort and Golf Course in Galena, Ill. and the Carthage Fall Invite at Randall Oaks Golf Club in Dundee, Ill.
At Randall Oaks,
William Schimbke had a team-best finish with a pair of 75's for 36-holes to finish +8 in the tournament and place 30th.
Craig Collins tied for 36th with a two-day 151 score (75, 76) and
Buddy Martens tied for 40th with a 152 (77, 75).Â
At the Midwest Region Classic,
Martin Clancy led the team in 93rd with a two-day total of 174 headlined by a second-round score of 78.
Jackson Yoder finished 99th with a 176 (86, 90) for the weekend and
Jack Suedbeck shot 180 (99, 81) for 36-holes.
The Duhawks will host the Loras Fall Invite on Sunday, Sept. 19 and Monday, Sept. 20 at their home course, Thunder Hills Country Club, in Peosta.
