Nov. 14, 2022 – Both of Loras College's 22^nd-ranked cross country teams are headed to the NCAA Division III National Championship meet this coming Saturday, Nov. 19 after scoring top-five finishes at the Midwest Region Championship this past weekend.

The Duhawk women are going to the NCAA championships as a team for the first time in 25 years while the Duhawk men will be making the trip for the second consecutive season.

Loras' women's team finished fourth out of 29 competing teams at Saturday's Midwest regional in Aurora, Ill. Kassie Parker was victorious yet again and will look to defender her national championship title next weekend along with her teammates that include three other all-region performers in Brianna Renner, Kaylee Osterberger, and Ellie Osterberger.

Luke Guttormson led the men's team with a fifth-place finish ahead of fellow all-region honorees in Wyatt Kelly, Ryan Harvey, and Julian Watson.

The NCAA Division III National Championships will take place on Saturday, Nov. 19 at the Forest Akers East Golf Course on the campus of Michigan State University in Lansing, Mich. The women's race will begin at 11 A.M. eastern time with the men's race to follow at noon.
