DECATUR, Ill. (Sept. 10, 2022) – No. 3 Loras College women's soccer got back to form on Saturday afternoon as the Duhawks took down the Millikin University Big Blue 4-0 to even their record back up at 2-0-2.

Abby Eriksen in the middle of the box. Eriksen's back-footed shot found the left side of the goal as the seniors connected to put the Duhawks up 2-0.
Loras made it 3-0 in the 76
th minute when a takeaway set up junior midfielder
Bella Talbot with a run down the right side of the field. Her centering pass was on target to freshman defender
Katie Callahan, who finished the chance for her first goal as a collegian.
Schmitz capped off the scoring with a goal of her own just a minute later as another corner kick pass from McDonnell set her up for her first score of the season. Schmitz and McDonnell each have four assists so far this season to tie for the team lead.
Loras plays next on Wednesday, Sept 14, when they host North Central College at the Rock Bowl at 5 P.M.
