Sept. 24, 2022 - The Loras College men's golf team traveled to Waverly on Friday to compete in the Wartburg Fall Invitational at the Prairie Links Golf Course.

Noah Nabb (76-70) led the team with a ninth-place finish, posting a two-round total of 146. William Schimbke (76-74) and Keagan Wurth (78-75) followed close behind with totals of 150 and 153. Emmett Loomis (81-76) and Nick Hauser (81-77) rounded out the top-five with two-round totals of 157 and 158.
 
After a disappointing first-round team score of 311, the Duhawks improved by 16 shots to shoot the fourth-lowest Loras team score in the last 15 years of 295. This second-round score moved the team up four spots in the team leader board to finish in fifth place.
 
The men's team will finish up their fall season next Monday and Tuesday in Iowa City at the Central College Fall Classic.
