CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – Loras College cross country runner Ryan Harvery has been named the American Rivers Conference Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week following his performance at the National Catholic Invitational this pas weekend, the conference office announced.
The Bartlett, Ill., native finished the men's five mile race 23
rd out of 138 runners but finished as one of the top among those from NCAA Division III institutions. Harvey closed out the race at a time of 25:32.2, finishing 1:27.4 behind first place.
The honor is the junior's second in his career, having previously earned the distinction on Sept. 20, 2021.
The Duhawks will return to action on Sept. 30, when the program competes at the Dan Histon Invitational, hosted by Wartburg College.
