KANSASVILLE, Wis. – The Loras College men's golf team competed in the Midwest Region Classic, hosted by Benedictine University, this past weekend at the Brighton Dale Links.
The Duhawks were led by
Doug Custis who shot a 77 on day one and a 75 on day two to tie for 47
th-place with a total score of 152 (+8).
Danny Anderson carded a 79 in round one and a 78 in round two to shoot a 157 (+13) across both days and earn himself a share of 90th place.
Jordyn Raymond shaved off seven strokes from Friday (83) to Saturday (76) to move him up 48 spots in the individual standings, while
Noah Nabb shot 159 (+15) throughout both days of competition which put him in a 14-way tie for 104
th place.
William Schimbke recorded a final score of 166 (+22) to round out the Loras scorecard.
Loras shot a two-day score of 626 (+24) to check into 25
th place as a team.
The Duhawks close out their fall season at the Central College Fall Classic at Finkbine Golf Course in Iowa City, Iowa. The tournament is set to begin on Monday, Oct. 2.
