DUBUQUE, Iowa – The Loras College women's basketball team cruised to an 81-51 conference win over Luther College on Wednesday evening inside the Lillis Athletic and Wellness Center.

Megan Murray with 3:11 remaining in the first quarter gave the Duhawks a 15-13 lead that they would continue to extend throughout the remainder of the contest.
Loras (13-2 overall, 5-1 American Rivers Conference) led 44-25 at the end of the first half and added 27 points in the second half to earn its ninth consecutive victory.
Sami Martin led all scorers and recorded her first double-double of the season, finishing with 24 points and 10 rebounds.
Silvana Scarsella scored 15 points to tally her sixth double-digit scoring game of her junior campaign, while
Madison Haslow contributed 10 points and pulled down seven boards in the win.
Daniella Jarrell totaled four steals, four blocks and dished out a team-high five assists for the Duhawks as well. As a team, Loras shot 44.6 percent (29-of-65) from the floor, including 31.8 percent (7-of-22) from behind the arc.
Haylie Strum led Luther (8-8, 3-4) with 16 points and two steals. Lizzie Kauls chipped in eight points and grabbed a game-high 11 rebounds, while Amelia Solum followed closely behind with seven points and three steals. The Norse shot 27.6 percent (16-of-58) from the field and 83.3 percent (15-of-18) from the charity stripe.
