DUBUQUE, Iowa – The Loras College women's soccer team shut down Luther College, 5-0, on Wednesday evening in the Rock Bowl.
Emerson Gasmann put the Duhawks on the board at the 21:16-mark after an assist from
Kaighin Frost.
Less than a minute later,
Lauren Riggle netted home her ninth goal of the season off a second assist from Frost.
Just before the first half came to an end,
Allie Stubbendick earned her first career goal of an assist from
Reagan Lindsay.
Seven minutes into the second half,
Belle Johnson got in on the scoring and sent one to the back of the net off Lindsay's second assist of the night. Rounding out the scoring came by way of Johnson, as she scored her second goal of the contest.
Loras (15-0-0, 6-0-0 A-R-C) outshot Luther (2-8-6, 2-3-2 A-R-C) 34-0, 18 of which landed on frame for the Duhawks.
