NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Loras College men's and women's cross country teams earned United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic honors, announced Thursday, for the fall 2023 season. In addition, three Duhawks were named USTFCCCA All-Academic Athletes.  

Loras' women posted a GPA of 3.5, while the men recorded a 3.27 GPA. On the men's side sophomore Jack Beehler and senior Ryan Harvey garnered All-Academic distinction, while Frankie Chaidez earned the honor on the women's side.

In order to be eligible for all-academic honors, teams must earn a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. while student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of at least a 3.30 on a 4.0 scale and finish in the top-25 percent of their respective regional championship meet.

The two teams were part of a group of 194 men teams and 232 women's squads fro the Division III level that captured All-Academic Team honors.
