Duhawks Finish Third, Fourth at Loras Invite

ASBURY, Iowa – Both the men's and women's golf teams competed in the Loras Invite this past Sunday and Monday. The men's team finished in third-place, tallying its second-straight top five finish, while the women finished fourth.
 
Leading the way for the men was Noah Nabb. Nabb shot an opening round 74 (+2) followed by a second round 79 (+7) for a two-day total of 153, which was good enough for a seventh-place finish. Danny Anderson finished the tournament +10, shooting 78 (+6) on day one, and 76 (+4) on day two. Anderson finished in a tie for eighth. 
 
Doug Custis finished the tournament in a tie for 13th after shooting rounds of 77 (+5) and 788 (+6). Alex Link shot a two-day total of 157, firing a 76 (+4) on day one, followed by a 81 (+11), which placed him in a tie for 20th
 
Rounding out the Loras lineup was Quinn Walsh. Walsh shot rounds of 82 (+10) and 78 (+6) to tie for 28th place. 

On the women's side, Julia Busch shot a team-best two-day total of 174 giving her a sixth-place finish. Busch shot an opening round 85 (+13) followed by an 89 (+17) on day two. Jenna Bistline fired an opening round 87 (+15) before shooting a 93 (+21) for a two-day total of 180, which placed her in a tie for 12th
 
Elish Flynn finished 21st in the tournament shooting rounds of 90 (+18) and 94 (+22). Ellen Pechan recorded an opening round 103 (+31) before improving her score by 14 shots on day two, shooting an 89 (+17). 
 
Kathleen Looney rounded out the Loras lineup with a tournament total of 195. Looney opened the tournament with a round of 94 (+22) before recording a day two score of 101 (+29).
