ROCK ISLAND, Ill. – The Loras College men's golf team earned a 13^th place finish in its season opener this past weekend at the Highland Championship hosted by Augustana College.
 
Alex Link and Doug Custis led the way for the Duhawks, both finishing with a two-day total of 152 (+8). Link started the tournament off shooting 74 (+2), followed by a 78 (+6) in round two, while Custis carded rounds of 80 (+8) and even par 72. 
 
Noah Nabb and Danny Anderson had identical weekends as both opened the tournament with an 80 (+8) and then improved by six shots on day two to finish the tournament at 154 (+10). Will Coohey rounded out the Loras lineup, by carding a two-day score of 159 (+15), which included a seven-shot difference from day one to two.
 
Quinn Walsh, playing as an individual, joined Nabb and Anderson in the +10 group for the Duhawks.
