ASBURY, Iowa – The Loras College men's and women's golf teams both battled tough conditions to finish the Loras College Invite this past Sunday and Monday. The men took ninth place, while the women's team finished in sixth.
On the men's side,
Noah Nabb and
Danny Anderson finished in a tie for 15
th. Nabb shot rounds of 79 and 80 to finish the tournament +15. Anderson fired rounds of 78 and 81 to get to +15.
Doug Custis shot a two-day total of 163 to shoot +19 and finish in 32
nd.
Will Coohey and
Alex Link finished with two-day totals of +28 and +31, respectively, to round out the Loras lineup.
On the women's side,
Julia Busch finished T-11 to lead the Duhawks with rounds of 88 and 89 to finish +33.
Elish Flynn finished in a tie for 20
th, finishing +40 for the tournament.
Ellen Pechan and Katherine Looney rounded out the Duhawk lineup, finishing +46 and +72, respectively.
