January 24, 2026

LINCOLN, Neb. - The Loras College men's wrestling team turned in a strong all-around performance on Saturday, sweeping all four duals against Luther College, Coe College, Nebraska Wesleyan University, and Simpson College.

Loras opened the day with a 31-14 victory over No. 12 Luther, jumping out early behind a fall from Aidan Gruenenfelder at 125 lbs. The Duhawks earned six bonus-point wins in the dual, including tech falls from Eric Kinkaid (157 lbs) and Landry Barker (184 lbs). Dustin Bohren added a hard-fought 1-0 decision at 174 lbs, while Boden Brokopp closed the dual with a heavyweight win to secure the team score.

The Duhawks followed with close 22-16 win over No. 7 Coe in one of the most competitive duals of the day. Gruenenfelder and Connor Fiser (133 lbs) opened with back-to-back victories before Loras built momentum in the middle of the lineup. A pivotal fall from Bohren swung the dual, and Loras sealed the win behind strong performances at the upper weights.

Loras continued to roll in its third dual of the day, cruising to a 46-4 victory over Nebraska Wesleyan. The Duhawks collected bonus points in eight bouts, highlighted by falls from Gruenenfelder, Allen Catour (165 lbs), Barker, and Brokopp. Tech falls from Blake Endres (133 lbs), Kinkaid, and Alex Watson (197 lbs) helped Loras win nine of the 10 matches in commanding fashion.

The day concluded with another decisive win as Loras defeated Simpson, 44-6. Gruenenfelder opened the dual with a quick tech fall, and Loras followed with falls from Wiley Jessup (133 lbs), Catour, and Evan Franke (197 lbs).
