CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa –
Claire Wagner and
Ashtyn Kelderman have been named to American Rivers Conference All-Conference teams the league office announced Wednesday afternoon.
Wagner is earning first-team recognition this year, after being named to the second-team last season. The Westchester, Ill native was a force for the Duhawks all year inside. She averaged a team-high 14.7 points per game, 7.6 rebounds per game, and shot 53.0 percent from the floor. These marks also ranked inside the top 10 in the A-R-C during conference play.
Wagner capped off her senior season with seven double-doubles, 367 points, highlighted by a season-high 25 points against Simpson College, and 189 rebounds, including a career-high 15 rebounds at Luther College.
Kelderman is earning All-Conference Honorable Mention for the first time in her career after a standout sophomore campaign. The Boyden, Iowa guard finished the year averaging 12.1 points per game, 4.7 rebounds per game, and shot a team-high 37.8 percent from beyond the arc, which ranked fourth in the A-R-C.
Loras finished the season with a 9-16 overall record and a 5-11 A-R-C record.
